Common Canine and Feline Neurological Disorders in Practice A Day meeting with Dr Jacques Penderis of the University of Glasgow
Neurological disorders are perceived as challenging in private practice, with many cases presenting as emergencies. However, using a logical approach many of these can be successfully managed in practice. The lectures will provide a recap on neurological disorders commonly seen in dogs and cats in practice. Using extensive video clips and case studies, the focus of the meeting will be on the clinical investigation and treatment options, ensuring a practical and relevant meeting.
Topics to be covered will include: · Seizures: diagnosis and control. · Strokes and funny turns: vestibular disease in dogs and cats. · The paralysed patient: localising lesions and common disorders. · Common cranial nerve and intracranial lesions.
