An evening meeting with Liz Welsh
Cumbernauld, Thursday 11th Nov, 2010
Cumbernauld, Westerwood Hotel, Thursday 11th Nov, 2010, registration from 7pm, meeting from 7:30pm to 10pm
A practical approach to selecting the most appropriate method of wound closure will be discussed for both surgical and traumatic wounds and illustrated by case examples. The principles behind controlling wound tension and managing dead space will be highlighted.
For those wounds that are more appropriately managed open, choosing a suitable dressing can be confusing. Understanding the needs of the wound simplifies the decision making process and this will be illustrated for different types of wounds.
